Baird Funeral Home is pleased to offer a special service of aftercare for the bereaved families. This service which began in 1987 at Baird's is under the direction of Dr. James "Jim" Burge, aftercare and bereavement specialist. Jim brings to our firm a variety of experiences and expertise in the area of grief and death.
Following the funeral experience, Jim contacts each family we serve to explain our aftercare program. This is an added service of Baird Funeral Home for which there is no charge.
Jim Burge is also available to lead groups in the area of grief. He is willing to work with you and your group to create a variety of programs.

Support Groups:
The sessions under the direction of Dr.James "Jim" Burge, bereavement and aftercare specialist for Baird Funeral Home are open to the public and are without charge. Baird Funeral Home is proud to be the facilitator of a bereavement support group held at the Baird Funeral Home, on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30PM.
Holiday Program:
Baird Funeral Home invites the community to "Reflections For the Holidays" each November. This program focuses on helping the individuals and families prepare for the holidays following the loss of a loved one.

Baird Funeral Home in its continued effort to be a community resource offers yearly programming for the bereaved and professionals.
